Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Asok Framework ("the Software"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Software.

2. License

Asok Framework is released under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software. The above copyright notice and permission notice shall be included in all copies or substantial portions of the Software.

3. Use of the Software

You may use Asok Framework for any lawful purpose, including commercial applications. However, you agree not to:

  • Use the Software in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law
  • Use the Software to transmit malicious code, viruses, or any other harmful software
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software except where permitted by law
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices

4. Documentation and Website

The documentation and website (asok-framework.com) are provided for informational purposes. While we strive to keep the information accurate and up-to-date, we make no representations or warranties of any kind about the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of the documentation.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Asok Framework, its contributors, or copyright holders be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, procurement of substitute goods or services; loss of use, data, or profits; or business interruption) however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort arising in any way out of the use of this Software.

7. Contributions

By contributing to Asok Framework (through pull requests, issues, or other means), you agree that your contributions will be licensed under the same MIT License that covers the project. You represent that you have the right to grant this license for your contributions.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

Our documentation may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Asok Framework. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.

11. European Union Users

If you are a consumer located in the European Union or European Economic Area, the following additional terms apply:

  • Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU law, including but not limited to the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).
  • The disclaimer of warranties in Section 5 does not affect mandatory statutory warranties under EU law, including warranties of conformity for goods and services.
  • The limitation of liability in Section 6 does not apply to:
    • Liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence
    • Liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
    • Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable EU law
  • If you are a French consumer, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-4 to L217-14 of the French Consumer Code) and the legal guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code).
  • EU consumers have the right to bring disputes before the competent courts in their country of residence.
